Career
Joanna worked for 10 years both as a Barrister and a Solicitor.
She was a partner in a central London firm specialising in commercial work and it was there that she became a fervent supporter of mediation as offering a quick, cost-effective and workable solution for parties in conflict.
With excellent inter-personal skills and a capacity readily to assimilate information, Joanna’s enthusiasm and willingness to work hard in the mediation process is invaluable. Her commercial experience acting for both Claimants and Defendants in complex disputes and negotiations enables her to facilitate practical and workable solutions to disputes which may otherwise appear intractable.
An accredited mediator with CEDR since 2000 and with the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology since 2005, she also has experience of community mediation.
