Career

Mary was admitted as a solicitor in 1979 and has developed a reputation for supporting clients through one of life's great ordeals: separation and divorce. She is also a collaborative lawyer and highly experienced mediator.

Mary’s practical, solution-based approach ensures a high resolution rate for people consulting her.

Mary is a member the Family Mediators Association and also of Resolution, so she is committed to a constructive and less adversarial approach to resolving family disputes, wherever possible. Mary’s Resolution accreditation in Advanced Financial Provision (substantial or complex cases and pensions) equips her to handle the most difficult cases. Mary's expertise in pensions and tax has helped some clients save tens of thousands of pounds in tax, as well as protect valuable final salary pensions.

Mary is highly practical. She has a sense of proportion and can often help the most beleaguered client to smile again. She helps people work out what’s important and how to rebuild their lives after separation.
