Secretary of State Rt Hon Kenneth Clarke visit
On the 23rd January 2012 Kenneth Clarke and Mark Lancaster came to visit Focus Family mediation and hear abut family mediation in practice.
After a discussion with the mediators Messrs Clarke and Lancaster watched a role play of a mediation intake assessment. They then met some Focus Mediation clients and discussed with them how mediation worked for them.
Mr Clarke said:
"Services such as Focus Mediation play a key role in the future of our family justice system, and are especially effective where children are involved."
