Focus Mediation offers highly experienced specialist mediation for most disputes including family, civil and commercial, businesses, workplace and employment. Focus was established in 1999 by family solicitor and accredited mediator Mary Banham-Hall.
With more than 30 years’ experience in family law, Mary was among the first 100 collaborative lawyers in the UK. She has tenaciously held onto the fundamental belief that mediation offers a faster more cost effective and ultimately more positive outcome for clients.
Who Are We?
Mary has worked hard to make Focus Mediation one of the leading mediation services in Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire.
She has now set up a London branch of Focus Mediation, conveniently located in Central London next to Euston Station and within easy reach of the City and the West End.
All our mediators are officially accredited by the leading mediation bodies. Many come from a legal background and have an excellent grasp of the law.
They offer specialist knowledge over a broad range of subjects including: divorce and separation – property, housing and family finance, child arrangements and parental communication. Focus mediators have specialist relevant knowledge in business, employment, workplace, probates and contract and commercial law. Mediators come from back-grounds in HR, international commerce, property, the shipping industry, media & entertainment and the charitable sector.
Several mediators are trained in psychology to better understand their clients’ complex emotions. Some of them train lawyers and other professionals in mediation both in the UK and abroad.
Our mediation teams have a working knowledge of foreign languages including French, German and Russian. If needed, they can put you in touch with a professional interpreter.
